PUBG Corporation seeks a veteran software engineer for rendering and lighting development at our Madison, WI office. We are a small, multi-disciplinary team creating map and game content for PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, including our latest mini-royale offering “Sanhok”.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our lighting and technical artists to add features and improve our lighting and rendering pipelines
- Profile and optimize our game
- Develop guidelines and create budgets for our technical and environment artists
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math related field
- Five (5) or more years of C++ programming experience in games or a related industry
- One or more shipped titles in the AAA PC/Console space
- Clean, reliable, and efficient code-writing skills; experience with code-review
- Strong spoken and written communication skills — Korean language skills a major plus
- Extensive experience creating and optimizing modern rendering pipelines
- Experience writing shaders in HLSL, Cg, or GLSL
- Performance and memory optimization skills
- Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine 4
