Job Overview
Transguard Group is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for the position of Housekeeper. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall organization in assigned facilities such as hotels, offices, or residential buildings.
The Housekeeper will play a key role in ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for clients while following company standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
The Housekeeper will be responsible for:
- Cleaning and maintaining rooms, hallways, and common areas
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Changing bed linens and making beds (if assigned in hospitality settings)
- Cleaning bathrooms and ensuring proper sanitation
- Handling waste disposal and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting shortages
- Following health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to supervisors
- Ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not always required
- Basic understanding of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina (standing, bending, lifting for long hours)
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication skills (basic English is often required)
- Teamwork and a positive attitude
