Job Overview
Marriott International, Inc. is seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to join its hotel operations team in Warsaw. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient inventory control and supporting daily hotel functions by ensuring all departments receive the supplies and materials they need on time.
The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing stock levels, handling deliveries, maintaining storage areas, and ensuring compliance with Marriott’s global operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Storekeeper will be responsible for:
- Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming goods and supplies.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock control systems.
- Organizing storage areas to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance.
- Issuing materials and supplies to hotel departments as requested.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- Coordinating with purchasing and finance departments.
- Conducting regular inventory audits and stock counts.
- Ensuring proper labeling, storage, and rotation of goods (FIFO method).
- Following health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move goods when required.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Polish and basic English is an advantage.
